Snowshoe hike to enjoy the sunset on the Dolomites

Sunset in one of the most breathtaking moments in the Dolomites, creating the famous enrosadira phenomenon. The Cortina360 alpine Guides offer an easy snowshoe hike to enjoy this natural spectacle and explore one of the lesser-know areas of the UNESCO Dolomites: the historic border between the Serenissima Republic of Venice and the Austro-Hungarian Empire, a boundary that remained until 1918 when Cortina d'Ampezzo became part of Itay.

Program:

Departure at 3:00 pm from the "Lino Lacedelli" Climbing Gym in Cortina d'Ampezzo.

Transfer - snowshoe hike on fresh snow in the Passo Giau area, break with snack in a typical local venue, return to the Climbing Gym.

Estimated return around 7:00 p.m.
