Biblioteca comunale di Trichiana

In 1972 three brothers, Angelo Aldo (1921-1988), Mario (1926-1987) and Renzo (1928-1987) Cortina with Beatrice Merlin, booksellers from Trichiana, promoted the constitution in Trichiana of a civic library.
The proposal was accepted by the Municipal Administration of the time and the three brothers and the bookshops made a large donation of books.
The library was inaugurated in 1974 and dedicated to Enrico Merlin (1937-1971), bookseller from Trichiana, prematurely disappeared.
Today it is a modern library, an internet point, always updated on the latest editorial news, with a rich offer of music and movies. A "window on the world" that pay attention to informational, cultural and intelligent entertainment needs of its users.
