The parish church dedicated to San Biagio with a churchyard overlooking the lake is located in the centre of the village.
It was rebuilt a first time after landslides in 1771 and a second time after a furious fire that devastated it in 1899.
The recent restoration has redesigned the profile of the roofs, bringing the pitches back to their previous appearance.
The roof covering is made of larch shingles.
The old parish church consecrated in 1466 was erected on the site of a very old chapel that is mentioned in a papal bull of 1185. Inside there is a cycle of paintings and frescoes by Valentino Rovisi and his school, an ancient statue of the Madonna of Loreto and another depicting St Blaise dated between 1410 and 1420.
