The church of Santa Maria Maggiore is located in Cesiomaggiore, it has very ancient origins, it was instituted in 1184 but it is said that it dates back before the year 1000.
Between 1785 and 1791 it was rebuilt and amplied by the architect Antonio De Boni.
Outside you can see the neoclassical architectonic style that distinguishes the Church and the four pilasters that support the triangular pediment above which there are three acroterial statues.
Inside there are four altars, two of which are dedicated to Saint Anthony and Saint Sebastian, along with works of art after the late-Renaissance period and the baptismal still present dated 1483.
The Church also has the highest bell tower in the Province, even after its elevation.
