In Calalzo di Cadore, after a short walk into the wood you arrive at this lake, a small mirror of water know since Roman Times for the thermal characteristic the benefits of its water.
This place is known with the name of Lagole and you can reach it by car from the state road at Calalzo di Cadore, following the signs to the railway station. With the car you can arrive up to the Lake of Centro Cadore.
Before to reach the lake there is a small car park and from where you continue on foot for a few meters from the lake.
In this final part of the lake you can fin a path which leads towards the forest and climbs slightly, marked by some wooden stairs and railings at the very beginning of the path.
We walk for a few hundred meters through the vegetation and after about 10 minutes we come to an area where the pines are sparser and the rocks are filled with water that forms the famous Lagole waterfalls.
Soon after, we can see the Lago delle Tose, a natural pool formed in a rocky basin.
