Alleghe is also known as the town of Sundials.
There are 14 sundials painted on the buildings in the town centre, each made by a local expert.
Of particular interest is the one that is barely visible on the south side of the parish church, of the "Italic" type, which makes it possible to date exactly the day in 1771 when the great Piz landslide gave life to Lake Alleghe.
Today the sundials are linked by a path that allows you to observe almost all of them from the streets of the village with an easy walk.
