Lake Antorno is only 2 kilometres north of the more famous Lake Misurina and must be on your itinerary in the Dolomites in Belluno.
The Three Peaks reflecting in the water, together with the surrounding forests and meadows, make the landscape unique.
Several hiking trails leave from the lake, the most famous being the ascent to the Three Peaks and the ring of Monte Piana.
The walk, which, in about one hour, runs around the lake between small bridges and wooden footbridges, is worth trying in all seasons:
with the bright colours of summer, with the many shades of autumn, enchanted in winter and with nature awakening in spring.
One more piece of advice? Wait until sunset and enjoy the spectacle of the alpenglow.
