- Arriving from Agordino, he paid a visit to the hamlet of California, in the municipality of Gosaldo, now uninhabited after the 1966 flood, but once a community that grew around mining in the area.

Coming from Sospirolo, you will see the Carthusian monastery of Vedana. You cannot see the inside because it houses cloistered nuns, but it is worth a brief stop to admire the impressive architectural complex from the outside.
