THE VALLON POPERA LOOP
A day hike, accompanied by a mountain guide, through the Dolomites of Comelico starting from the Lunelli Refuge, at the foot of the Popera group, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The ascent takes place on a comfortable trail, interspersed with some simple rocky sections and enchanting little waterfalls, leading to the Berti Refuge from which one can enjoy an initial spectacular view of the Vallon Popera, rich in numerous historical, natural, and scenic aspects that characterize it. From the Refuge, the trail continues for the loop of Vallon Popera, touching the Sala Refuge, the Croda Colesei, Forcella Poper, Laghetto Poera, and returning.
