The Olympic Flame of the Milan Cortina 2026 Winter Games will pass through the Province of Belluno on the following dates:
- 25 January 2026: The torch will stop in Belluno, involving the local community in dedicated celebrations and events.
- 6 January 2026: The Flame will reach Cortina d'Ampezzo, on a symbolic date coinciding with the 70th anniversary of the Opening Ceremony of the 1956 Winter Olympics, hosted precisely in Cortina. An official ceremony is planned in Piazza Angelo Dibona to welcome the torch.
The journey of the Olympic Flame will begin on 26 November 2025 with its ignition in Olympia, Greece, and will continue for 63 days, passing through all 110 Italian provinces and covering approximately 12,000 kilometres
As for the Paralympic Flame, its journey will start on 24 February 2026 and end on 6 March 2026, the day of the Opening Ceremony of the Paralympic Winter Games. During these 11 days, the torch will travel approximately 2,000 kilometres, touching on several Italian locations.
These stages represent significant moments for the territory of the Belluno Dolomites, offering the opportunity to actively participate in the enthusiasm and Olympic spirit leading up to the Milan Cortina 2026 Winter Games.
