What could be better than an easy walk to discover the beauties of one of the Most Beautiful Villages in Italy? Leave your car near the square and enjoy a walk through history, art, and nature by following the trail marker 2301. Start with a visit to the Civic Archaeological Museum and the Palazzo della Magnifica Comunità, and let yourself be enchanted by the frescoes and narrow streets.
Gradually immerse yourself in nature and don’t miss the chance to visit the “Giazera,” a special underground structure that allowed for food preservation. Continue through meadows and groves where, if you’re lucky, you might encounter some wildlife. The little churches of Pagogna and Col, along with the many capitals, provide a beautiful backdrop for your photos.
As you ascend towards the village, you will enjoy a magnificent view of the Prealps from corso XXXI ottobre. The romantic street “Karera” will lead you to the ancient hamlet of Follo with its beautiful frescoed church. Finally, the uphill path back to the starting point will allow you to admire the majesty of the Dolomites reflected in the Piave.
