Biblioteca di Alano

The comunal library of Alano di Piave is part of the Provincial Library Service of Belluno.
In synergy with the Libraries of Quero and Vas within the Unione Setteville, it proposes various activities: meetings with the author, reading aloud, musical meetings, theater, meetings with schools, organization of courses, exhibitions and events...
The Library participates and supports the national project “Nati Per Leggere” to promote reading aloud from the earliest age so that the book and reading can support the growth path of children and the relationships between children and adults.
In the Library has formed a group of voluntary readers “Caratteri Mobili” that gives voice to books and promotes the pleasure of listening and reading.
It has about 10,000 volumes and can access, through the service of borrow, the heritage of the Libraries of Belluno to try to satisfy all kinds of interest.
It offers internet access also with WI-FI. Everyone can subscribe to the service and borrow material, read, study, surf the Internet or simply to meet other people or relax a bit.
There is also a small refreshment area, and several cozy corners where you can work together and compare.
