The Dumia Educational Farm is located in Feltre, immersed in the magnificent setting of the Feltre Peaks, at the gates of the Dolomites National Park.
From 2019 we cultivate the land in a biological way with particular attention to the conservation of biodiversity: our goal is to pass on our passion to ensure that the concept of self-care and care of the other becomes an integral part of the life of future generations. All activities are designed and organized according to the different ages and needs of our guests. Each laboratory is adaptable according to the type of user: from kindergarten to primary school, from organized groups to families.
Activities are also aimed at Grest and Summer Camps. All workshops will be led by experts in the field, specialized in environmental education and teaching. The activities are structured in such a way as to guarantee the maximum safety of the participants.
The choice to cultivate the land with biological method has been, even before of environmental character, a choice of educational type. Our mission and professional experience have led us to reflect on how to address the problem of addiction and pathological use of substances from a psychological, physical and social point of view.
Taking care of nature, animals, learning to respect the times, the difficulties, the unexpected helps us to experience life. Agriculture allows people to train on daily difficulties, it teaches us to develop skills useful for job placement.
