Created from the renovation of the homonymous cheese factory.
An ideal base for excursions and climbing on the Marmarole, it is a recommended stop along the Alta Via delle Dolomiti n. 5.
How to get there:
-From Domegge di Cadore-Deppo, 890 m, 3.30-3.45 hours T: on the cart road (s. 265) to Tabià Lagun, Rous, Varsure, Dumele, to the right, on the cart road (s. 264) to Forcella Bassa to the refuge.
-From Domegge di Cadore-Grea, 910 m, 3.45-4 hours: on the cartroad (s. 264) to Pian dl Capo, Cresta de Po Croda, Forcella Bassa and to the refuge.
-From Calalzo di Cadore-La Stua, 1125 m, 2.15 hours E (from Ponte Val Vedessana 3.15 hours T) with sent 248 to Forcella Bassa and left along the cartroad (s. 264).
-From Auronzo di Cadore-Val Da Rin (Chalet "La Primula") 4.30-5 hours E: along the carriage road, at the crossroads for Tabia da Rin straight on with path n. 270 for Val Baion, boulder "Albergo de Baion", Forc. Baion, 2234 m, downhill and left for path n. 262.
-From Lozzo di Cadore - San Rocco, 810 m, 3.30-3.45 hours T: with path n. 266 for Tabià Larieto, Pra Pian, Varsùre to the right on the cartroad (s. 265) to Tabià Dumele and then always on the cartroad (s. 264) to Forcella Bassa and the refuge.
