Falesie in Val Canzoi, Val Canzoi - 32030 Cesiomaggiore (BL) IT

Val Canzoi: located between the municipalities of Feltre and Cesiomaggiore, at the geographic center of the Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park. From the hamlet of Soranzèn, not far from the artificial Lake of Stua, you can find three cliffs: "Sass dei Corz" (autumn - 8 routes), "Tamberella" (spring, summer, autumn - 20 routes), "Covolade" (autumn, winter - 13 routes).

Cliff “Sass dei Corz”

This small cliff, recently equipped for climbing, is located about 2 km from the entrance of Val Canzoi, a picturesque gateway to the Dolomiti Bellunesi Park.

The rock presents two micro-sectors; the first faces the road, while the second is reached by taking the very short path that starts from the parking area.

The excellent state of the anchors and the ease of access are the strengths of "Sass dei Corz".

Cliff “Tamberella”

A cliff immersed in the forest of Val Canzoi, it features a suspended sector which can be accessed via a short steel cable.

Access: from Soranzen, head into the Val di Canzoi, pass the Orsera restaurant, and continue for about 1 km until you reach the picnic area “Al Preton” and park. Cross the bridge and follow the path on the left that goes past a meadow; when you arrive at the water pipeline, follow it for about 100m. At a yellow sign on a pine tree, an ascending track will start on the left; follow it for about 15 minutes to reach the base of the cliff.

Cliff "Covolade"

Although the "Covolade" cliff develops on a wall of excellent quality gray limestone, the length of the approach discourages some climbers. You won’t find any queues under these amazing routes.

Access: From Soranzen, proceed all the way through Val Canzoi until the former Albergo Boz (park before the no-parking sign!). Continue along the paved road until you reach Lake of Stua, follow the shore for about 2 km until you reach a bend to the right, then follow the CI signs for Erera Brendol, trail 802. Continue along the dirt road until a second bend with a clearing, leave the road here to take a path that leads to the wall in 5 minutes.
