One of the most spectacular via ferrata of the Dolomites is the Ferrata delle Trincee from Portavescovo to Padon Pass through Mount Mesola. You have the chance to climb inside the Great War I trenches, to explore the same tunnels as the soldiers, to stop and admire the wonders of nature in front of you. Surely, the part that people like the most is the bridge, it is from a volcanic stone to another, and it's made by wood. At the end of the via ferrata you will find the Bontadini bivouac, built on an amazing natural terrace in front of the queen of the Dolomites, mount Marmolada.
