The Santa Barbara Cave, located at the end of the village of Schievenin, is a naturally enlarged tunnel with more than 400 mines, commissioned by the residents of the Valley and completed in 1924. To reach the cave, one must walk up a stone staircase, and inside, one can admire the stone altar and the statue of Santa Barbara, protector of miners, embedded in a niche of the rock.
