It is the result of a donation in 1984 by the then parish priest of the area, who wanted to leave these collections to the Museum of Montebelluna on the condition that the location be maintained in Schievenin: this to fully enhance the almost unspoiled natural heritage of the valley. The sections of the collection are dedicated to the Geology, Zoology, and Botany of the Schievenin Valley and Monte Grappa.
"From the Museum to the Territory" is the project that, according to the most modern concepts of “distributed museum” and “ecomuseum,” proposes environmental education routes that take place both in the territory, along natural and historical itineraries, and in the Parish Center, equipped with scientific instruments for in-depth study of the topics of Life and Earth Sciences.
