Il rifugio di nuova costruzione si trova a 2514 metri. Raggiungibile comodamente tramite la cabinovia che parte da passo San Pellegrino.
L'apertura estive ed invernale, coincide con quella degli impianti di risalita della Ski Area San Pellegrino
