In the Croce d'Aune pass area, an easy itinerary suitable for the whole family will thrill you with its sweeping views. On Mount Avena, walking among green pastures and flowering meadows, malghe (shepherd's huts) and refreshment points, the view is free to sweep over not only the nearby Vette Feltrine but also the Visentin and Cesen ridges, the Grappa and the Lagorai.
On the meadows around malga Campon, enchanting crocus blossoms can be admired in spring: the best time varies from year to year, but when the first flowers peep out and begin to carpet the meadows, turning them into carpets dotted with lilac and white, the spectacle is assured.
You can start from the Le Buse car park and from there reach Casere dei Boschi and then the Campet and Campon huts, up to the Avena cross.
FAMILY FRIENDLY
This peaceful and easy walk follows easy paths and dirt roads. Suitable for everyone and family-friendly, it is completed in a couple of hours. The length is 8 kilometres, the difference in altitude about 250 metres.
