A huge green carpet stretches right next to the centre of Falcade, providing a natural oasis that is truly within everyone's reach.
All you have to do is pack your picnic basket and gather the people with whom you wish to share a day in the open air: from late spring to autumn, the Falcade plain becomes the setting for a picnic in the mountains, embraced by an exciting panorama of the Dolomites.
Among the most characteristic areas is the Aivaz pond, where there are also some nice wooden picnic facilities. It is worth taking a walk to the “I tonf” waterfall, which you can reach by crossing the bridge over the Biois stream.
