Dolomiti Blues&Soul Festival Jazz Experience Orchestra

The Big Band is a musical ensemble consisting mainly of wind instruments with trumpets, trombones, saxophones and sometimes flute and clarinet, alongside a rhythm and harmony section consisting of piano, bass and drums. This kind of orchestra is characterised by a powerful and energetic sound, capable of performing a wide repertoire of jazz, swing, blues and even contemporary arrangements. The Jazz Experience Orchestra was founded in 2023. Its repertoire ranges from the swing of the 1930s and 1940s, with some great classics by Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller and Count Basie, to touch on some of the evolutions that jazz in this formation underwent from the 1960s to the 1980s.
