Anello del Lago del Corlo, Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II (Piazza Maggiore) - 32032 Feltre (BL) IT (0039) 04392540 feltrino@dolomitiprealpi.it www.dolomitiprealpi.it

Between Valsugana and Mount Grappa, where the Valbelluna opens, is located a fjord a few kilometers from the Venetian plain and the Dolomites: the Lake of Corlo.

Formed by an artificial barrier of the deep canyon created by the Cismon stream, with its elongated and irregular shape, it takes its name from the small village that overlooks the dam. The lake extends south-east of Arsié to the hamlet of Rocca, a settlement that was almost totally submerged with the creation of the dam in 1954.

The lake is also traversable thanks to three bridges: Victory Bridge or Rope Bridge suspended on steel ropes precisely, the Bassane Bridge and the Polo Bridge from which you can enjoy a beautiful view of Rocca. These bridges allow to reach the opposite bank of this village and then to reach, through an easy path, the old isolated districts now uninhabited, as well as some tunnels of the old railway line between Cismon and Feltre, which were built in the early twentieth century.

It is a place where the mountain walls descend vertically until they blend with the green of the vegetation and the blue of the water.
