Have you ever seen a meadow covered with daffodils? Here you have a beautiful ridge walk between the pastures and meadows that in spring turn white.
Leave your car in the small parking lot of the chalet of Col d'Artent, information and refreshment point open on summer weekends, and climb up to the easy driveway to Malga Garda.
Do not be too distracted by the wonderful views that you reveal at every step and continue in a wonderful uphill all in altitude to the farm Malga Mariech.
On the way you will meet some old shelter and the Capitel de Garda with its picnic area. A stop to refresh is a must: from these beautiful pastures on Mount Cesen dominate the Venetian plain with Valdobbiadene and the hills of Prosecco UNESCO World Heritage and you have a special view on the imposing walls of the Dolomites that stand north.
The return to the car takes you along the Val Mariec among the high beech woods to join the dirt road that returns to Col d'Artent at the height of Col dei Piatti.
A long but not particularly challenging loop that will take you from one side to the other of the Belluno Prealps.
