Escursione al Rifugio Città di Fiume, Località Casera Durona - 32040 Borca Di Cadore (BL) IT (0039) 0437720268 info@rifugiocittadifiume.it www.rifugiocittadifiume.it

The open and sunny location on the gentle grassy slopes of the Col de la Puìna, the superb view of the vertiginous north face of the Pelmo and the easy access routes make the shelter Città di Fiume a particularly appreciated destination for hikers and simple tourists.

It is a stop along the Alta Via delle Dolomiti n. 1. It is an opportunity to experience the traditional hospitality. It was inaugurated on September 20, 1964, being converted from the Durona hut, built around 1600, although it has been remodeled several times.

It has always been owned by the CAI section of Fiume which, after the events of the Second World War, has its headquarters in Padua.
