I circhi delle Vette Feltrine, Piazzale Zancanaro 1 - 32032 Feltre IT (0039)04393328 info@dolomitipark.it www.dolomitipark.it/

The Feltrine Peaks constitute a small orographic system of great scenic appeal and extremely high environmental value. In this natural setting, an extraordinary floral heritage, rich in endemics and rare species, beautifully integrates into the geological environment of cliffs, debris fields, and rocks shaped by glaciers and karst processes. This important segment of the Belluno Dolomites represents a privileged area for observing the geological and geomorphological landscape of the Park.

Around the Dal Piaz refuge, it is possible to walk a loop through an unusual and spectacular succession of suspended glacial cirques, the Cirques of the Peaks (or Buse), shaped during the last glaciation and subsequently influenced by snow and karst, in an environment of rare beauty enriched by a unique flora in the world. An opportunity to "read" the landscape with new eyes.

The path starts from the Dal Piaz Refuge and touches the main "Buse" (local name for the glacial cirques) located nearby.

The Dal Piaz Refuge can be reached on foot in 2h30 from the Croce d'Aune Pass, along trail CAI 801. The Pass is accessible via the road that goes from Feltre to Pedavena and then continues to Croce d'Aune.

The itinerary "The Cirques of the Peaks" develops only partially on CAI trails equipped with signposts. Part of the route unfolds outside the official paths and is therefore lacking in signage.
