The trail begins at the Dal Piaz Refuge and touches the main "Buse" (local name for the glacial cirques) located nearby.
The Dal Piaz Refuge can be reached on foot in 2h30 from the Croce d’Aune Pass, along the CAI 801 trail. The Pass is accessible by the road that climbs from Feltre to Pedavena and continues from there to Croce d’Aune.
The route “The Cirques of the Peaks” develops only partially on CAI trails equipped with signs. Part of the path runs outside the official trails and is therefore without signage.
This is a route for experienced hikers, which should be approached with adequate technical and physical preparation. It should not be undertaken in bad weather, fog, or low clouds.
