Artificial lake that was built in 1929 reclaiming a large swampy area and building a containment dam downstream. Also the chalet that mirroring on the lake, although it has undergone several improvements .

The place that surrounded the lake is called “polmone verde” because it is a site of high naturalistic qualification, inhabited by many species of wild animals and frequented by birds of passage.

The dense forest of pines and firs that surrounded the lake is an unforgettable setting while Croda Marcora and Antelao, also visible here in their extraordinary beauty, can be admired from the bottom of the valley.

The Lake of Mosigo have available an equipped area with playground and small funicular. And for the lunch: tables, benches and a barbecue area. It is a beautiful place where you can enjoy the peace, that you can reach in 10 minutes on foot from the center of San Vito for the pedestrian road down Sentinel Street.

Trail and road are passable in summer on foot, in winter (snow permitting) on foot or with snowshoes.
