In this location immersed in the woods, an elegant hotel complex stood until the early 20th century, created with the intention of exploiting the three springs present: ferruginous, magnesic and sulphurous. In 1881 the establishment was visited by Queen Margherita of Savoy during her trip to Cadore. In 1904 the owner of the plant, Cav. Angelo Barnabò, decided to have the little church built, entrusting the task to Valentino D'Andrea Sagazzin of Vigo di Cadore. On 12 August 1905, it was blessed by Don Pietro Zangrando, who celebrated the first mass there. The very simple interior has a single wooden altar carved by Emilio Vecellio Reane. After restoration in 1952, the building was visited by Monsignor Gioacchino Muccin and renamed 'Church of Our Lady of Peace'.
