The Munich-Venice bike route takes cyclists on a 560-km-long route from the capital of Bavaria to Venice. It is a sustainable journey for seeing historical places, different countries and landscapes.
The bicycle route passes 3 Olympic venues: Cortina d’Ampezzo (1956 and the next one in 2026), Innsbruck (1976) and Munich (1972).
The bicycle path enters the province of Belluno from the Cimabanche Pass, passes through Cortina d’Ampezzo, crosses the Cadore to descend first to Longarone and then to Ponte nelle Alpi from where you can choose whether to take a detour to Belluno, and then return to Ponte nelle Alpi, continue to Alpago, and reach the province of Treviso by pedalling on the Fadalto.
The different stages will take you through ever-changing landscapes and let you discover natural beauty spot, villages, traditions, local foods and flavours with the UNESCO Dolomites as backdrop.
