A historical-archeological trail, discovering the “covoli”: rock shelters that hosted small prehistoric communities, now the subject of archaeological research by the Park.
In four different sites, traces of human presence have been unearthed, dating from the Neolithic to the Middle Ages, including a burial from the period between the eighth and tenth century AD.
The itinerary includes two distinct loops: one short and one longer (reserved for experienced hikers), which reaches the high covoli and the summit of Mount Pafagai.
Mount Pafagai (m. 1,048) is the southernmost outpost of the Vette di Feltre, a pyramid-shaped wooded peak that separates the deep valleys of Lamen and San Martin. Interesting for hikers due to its scenic aspects.
