From the small but attractive Val Comelico Ski Area, it is possible to reach the Sesto Val Pusteria Ski Area, included in the Dolomiti Super Ski ski pass.
Thanks to the Salto ski-bus service, connecting Padola to Sesto via the Plöcken Pass, you will arrive comfortably at the slopes of Sesto and San Candido and be able to ski with a single ski pass between Veneto and South Tyrol: 115km of ski slopes and 31 ski lifts. There is no shortage of fun or breath-taking views in the Padola ski area either, where you can ski on slopes of varying difficulty that run through spruce forests.
Thanks to a four-seater ski lift, you can reach Col d’la Tenda, 2,000 metres above sea level and then descend the blue, red and black slopes. Padola is the starting point of the impressive “Parco naturale UNESCO Dolomiti” itinerary, to be travelled with your skis on to discover the Dolomites in Sesto and Val Comelico through the Plöcken Pass.
Padola is also a perfect destination for families and those who want to learn to ski, thanks to its nearly empty slopes and the Vare Belle school camp.
