It is one of the historic ferrate of the Dolomites that will take you up the south-west slope of Monte Civetta.
Because of the long approach to reach the starting point, it is to be considered as a very challenging via ferrata.
The route, which is 6 kilometres long with 1,500 metres of elevation gain, requires a good amount of experience in the mountains and leads through the south-eastern ramparts to the summit of Civetta. Great care should also be taken for the presence of exposed stretches.
Beautiful glimpses of the Trieste Tower, the Venice Tower, and the ramparts of Civetta. Incredible view of Van delle Sasse.
