Cengia Gabriella Via Ferrata (iron road)

Marino Bianchi Via Ferrata and alternative route

A beautiful and solitary environment provides the backdrop for the panoramic Gabriella ledge via ferrata that connects Ciadin de Stalata to the Carducci mountain shelter in Val Giralba.

ferrata cengia gabriella

This 9-kilometre-long via ferrata with 1,500 metres of elevation gain is the natural continuation of the Roghel via ferrata, which, from the Berti mountain shelter, traces a direct crossing between the Stalata Spires and the Popera Bell Towers.

While the route does not have excessive elevation gains, it does involve several ups and downs, and the approach to the iron road in any case involves making a great effort, which must be taken into account.
