Mario Fusetti Via Ferrata

Gianni Bovero Via Ferrata (iron road)

An itinerary of moderate difficulty that will take you to Sass di Stria. In addition to sport and scenery, it has cultural-historical value.
The ferrata starts from Forte Tre Sassi at Valparola Pass and is dedicated to Second Lieutenant Mario Fusetti, hero of Sasso di Stria, Medal of Honour for military valour. 
Follow the path in the direction of Sass di Stria passing along Galleria Goiginger and the post of the same name, and walk another 800 metres until you reach the start. 
The 1.5-kilometre ferrata with 204 metres of elevation gain is not excessively difficult and can be climbed in approximately 45 minutes. For the return trip, descend along the trenches until you arrive at Forte Tre Sassi.
