This beautiful ferrata, on the Marmolada group, will repay the effort with a picture postcard view.
The medium difficulty itinerary, with its length of 2 kilometres and 650 metres of elevation gain, requires moderate training and leads to the scenic Cima d’Auta Orientale, in a wild environment. From here you get a sprawling view of the Marmolada group to the Pale di San Martino, and toward Sasso Vernale and l’Ombrettola. Before starting on this via ferrata, you must pay close attention to the weather conditions. On Cime d’Auta peaks, you can frequently see beautiful groups of ibexes.
