Go up the south face of Croda Rossa in a grand environment in this short, but intense ferrata.
A moist, shaded ledge leads to a landslide basin, to the left of which is attached a small wall.
After passing a staircase, you first ascend an almost vertical gully and then an exposed prominence.
You will find yourself on a beautiful, marked but narrow ledge with the remains of a fort in the background embedded in the rock. The route, 4 kilometres with 1,000 metres of elevation gain, continues to the right, but it is certainly worthwhile to briefly walk the ledge to the left, to admire the view towards Vallon Popera. A final piece of rope leads to the trail to the summit of Croda Rossa di Sesto
