Michielli Strobel Via Ferrata

Gianni Bovero Via Ferrata (iron road)

A classic via ferrata that cannot be left out of your achievements in the Dolomites. The Strobel is a popular via ferrata that climbs the west slope of Punta Fiames covering over a length of 3 kilometres and 900 metres of elevation gain. The route is well designed: there are wide ledges and exposed but well-equipped sections. 
The view of Cortina and Boite valley is unparalleled. Despite its relative proximity to the town of Cortina d’Ampezzo, the considerable elevation gain requires good training. The challenging return trip is also to be approached carefully.
