Grotta della Tofana Via Ferrata

Marino Bianchi Via Ferrata and alternative route

A simple, but very evocative via ferrata that will take you right into the heart of Tofana di Rozes.
After crossing an easy but exposed ledge, the short, equipped route allows you to visit the huge natural cavity of Tofana Cave. 
The route, which is 2 kilometres long with 250 metres of elevation gain, is not technically difficult at all, but a headlamp is required to explore the inside of the cave. The views from the Tofana cave into the Ampezzo basin are spectacular, and the ice stalactites and stalagmites inside the cave are striking, and numerous, especially in spring.
